Volunteer

Volunteer Indication of Interest

Volunteers support our mission enormously and are vital members of the Open Door community. Volunteers make a positive difference by strengthening lives and bringing hope to our neighbors.

Select from flexible long-term volunteer roles as well as inspiring one-day service events. Individuals aged 16 and up, non-profits, businesses, schools, community groups, and faith-based partners are invited. The staff can help you find just the right fit.

Volunteer Opportunities

Administrative

Volunteers are needed to support various departments such as IT, Development, Finance and Community Outreach. Assist with data entry, scanning, community outreach and special events.

In-Kind Drives

In-kind donations bring much-needed resources to our Open Door families. Sponsor an in-kind campaign to support patient programs. New donated items are needed for the prenatal program, school-based programs, Reach Out and Read and holiday events.

Children

If you love children, we have opportunities to volunteer with newborns to teens including our Baby Bundle program for new families and Reach Out and Read for school children.

Seasonal

Bring joy to the underserved community. There are lots of events during the holiday season where helpers are needed to sort, organize, and collect toys and other items.
