Pablo Pazmino, Slalom Consulting

Pablo Pazmino is a highly accomplished Technology Executive with nearly two decades of expertise in the dynamic realm of Digital Transformation. In his current role, Mr. Pazmino plays a pivotal role in assisting brands in formulating and executing effective marketplace strategies supported by the right technology roadmaps.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Pazmino has showcased his versatility by seamlessly transitioning between roles in both IT and Business domains. He has led global teams in Solutions and Strategy, Digital Transformation and Innovation.  His proven strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in steering numerous successful global projects to success.

Mr.  Pazmino has had a notable impact from Executive positions at Nature’s Bounty, the prominent manufacturer, retailer, and wholesaler of Vitamins and Supplements.  While at Elsevier, a leading global publisher of Scientific journals his dedication to excellence was evident in the successful deployment of complex digital solutions.

Mr. Pazmino’s international background, having lived in multiple countries, adds a unique dimension to his approach. Fluent in Spanish, he brings a global perspective to his roles, making him adept at navigating diverse business landscapes.

Exposed to a diverse educational framework, Mr. Pazmino is recognized for his specialties in Digital Strategy,  Innovation, Global Digital Commerce, Mobile Technology and adoption, Digital Transformation, Project Delivery, Enterprise Architecture and Artificial Intelligence, and Gen/AI.

Vasco Drecun, Siemens-Healthineers

Vasco has over 25 years of experience in consulting, as well as hands-on managing, building and transforming engineering organizations of world leading manufacturing companies. His strong knowledge of advanced design and systems engineering best practices is accompanied by creative use of digital technologies to achieve measurable improvements. With well rounded experience in PLM, ERP, MES, supply chain management systems and enterprise architecture, Vasco possesses unique combination of skills, much applicable to accelerate time to benefits in transforming modern, digitalized and integrated engineering and manufacturing practices.

Applying his experience to some of most challenging digital transformation projects, Vasco also had strong contribution to the evolution of best practices for enterprise architecture, value chain optimization and business process management. He collaborated with Intel, IBM, HP, Microsoft, SAP and other leading information systems providers while serving as Chief Methodologist at Value Chain Group, and he also co-authored SOA based Federated Enterprise Reference Architecture (SOA based FERA) for semantic integration of distributed data and orchestration of inter-company information flows.

Vasco initiated his consulting career holding senior consulting positions with Baan and i2 Technologies. In addition to extensive consulting experience, Vasco has twelve years of experience in hands on design engineering and manufacturing project management with ATI, Steelcase and Teknion in Canada, and Institute for Product Development in Belgrade, Serbia.

Lindsay Farrell, President and CEO of Open Door Family Medical Center

Ms. Farrell has dedicated her professional life to high-quality community-based care, efficient care delivery, and population health management to assure a more equitable health care system for us all. Home-grown at Open Door where she originally served as a volunteer, Ms. Farrell has also served as Open Door’s Director of Operations and Director of Development.

During Ms. Farrell’s tenure as President and CEO, Open Door has grown significantly and doubled the number of people served. Today, Open Door is accredited by the Joint Commission, recognized by the National Committee on Quality Assurance as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home and has won the prestigious national Davies Award from HIMSS, the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society.

Ms. Farrell is a member of the Board of Directors of MVP Health Plan in Schenectady, the Community Health Care Association of New York State, the Taconic Health Information Network and Community (THINC) and the Health Center Controlled Network of New York.  She is also a past Chair of the Westchester Women’s Agenda.

Ms. Farrell is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and received her Master’s in Business Administration from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. She has received the Sol Feinstein Community Service Award from St. Lawrence University, the Betsy Cooke Grassroots Advocacy Award from the National Association of Community Health Centers, and has been named as one of Westchester County’s most influential residents by Westchester Magazine.

Daren Wu, Chief Medical Officer of Open Door Family Medical Center

Dr. Wu is the senior clinical leader at Open Door and oversees the quality of clinical care and service delivery at all sites. Dr. Wu directs the recruitment and review of physicians and allied healthcare workers and interfaces with affiliated hospitals.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Wu was the Medical Director of Open Door’s Family Health Practice at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco and a staff physician at Open Door’s Rye Brook site. Currently, he is a Family Medicine Preceptor for students from New York Medical College in Valhalla and Columbia Presbyterian College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is a founding faculty member of the Northwell Health Phelps Hospital Family Residency program, based in Open Door’s Sleepy Hollow facility.

Dr. Wu is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and received his Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in New York City. He completed his internship and residency in the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital of New York. He is a Board Certified Family Practice Physician who is proficient in Spanish and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

On November 9th, 350 individuals TUNED-IN to keep our communities “tuned-up” and healthy! We appreciate everyone’s generosity in supporting Open Door’s critical care coordination services that keep our patients healthy and on track outside the exam room. A special thanks to our honorees and the incredible musicians who came together to support good health, equity and community. 

PowerUP for Open Door

On May 4, 2017 we hosted PowerUP at the beautiful Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown.  Over 200 supporters attended to celebrate the grit and grace of those who have shaped our community.  StarPower keynote speaker, Linda Kaplan Thaler, inspired guests to empower others by harnessing their own passion and perseverance. and PowerHouse honoree Shirley Acevedo Buontempo received the Changemaker Award for her transformative work with first generation Latino college students. 

Get In-Line with Open Door

On October 21, 2016 we held our annual Fall Fest at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase.  A standing room only crowd raised their paddle to support quality health care as a right for everyone and not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. Together, we kicked off our shoes, line danced, and honored Kate and Alan Sanzenbacher, Barbara and Tom Cleveland, and June Keenan for their leadership and advocacy on behalf of community health care.
