In-person/Virtual Yoga with Dani Locastro of Heartful Yoga

On July 14th, community members joined together for a gentle yoga practice overlooking the Hudson River in Ossining to support Open Door and accessible health care for all.

Dani Locastro, a professional artist and a certified yoga instructor, led us in a nurturing Heartful yoga practice designed to move the body to promote self-awareness, deep relaxation, and wellness through mindful movements, conscious breath techniques, supported poses, gestural mudras with a guided meditation.

Yoga has been shown to decrease cortisol and adrenaline, the main stress hormones that make you feel overwhelmed, cranky, and on edge.

Thank you to all that supported us!
