Volunteer to Support Baby Bundle
The Open Door Baby Bundle provides Open Door prenatal patients with newborn necessities and information about available resources at Open Door and in the community. Each Bundle is packed with basic newborn essentials: sleep sacks, onesies, baby outfits, rectal thermometer, baby products, bibs and burp cloths, newborn mittens, socks & hats, infant toys, books, wipes and diapers.
Start a collection with your friends, family and colleagues. What’s needed: Diapers (size 1), sleep sack (newborn/small, non-swaddle), wipes, bilingual (English/Spanish) baby books, newborn thermometer and infant baby toys. Lend your personal touch with a hand-written card to a new mom. Arrange your collection as a family project, scout or girl scout troupe, corporate challenge or baby shower. Host a Baby Bundle Drive: Hosting a Drive is a great way to interact with your friends, classmates, neighbors or coworkers. In-kind campaigns can make a significant difference to our patients and the well-being of their newborns. The Baby Bundle is supported only through donations. The entire Bundle costs $200 per patient. Your support helps ensure that Open Door provides newborn essential items and critical prenatal patient support.
